Jiggy Leonard F. Landong, MD, FPCP, CSPSH is a physician with clinical, research, and leadership interests in internal medicine, addiction and recovery medicine, and substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation. He is the first internist in the Philippines with local clinical fellowship in Addiction and Recovery Medicine. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Iloilo, where he is involved in medical detoxification, withdrawal management, and interdisciplinary patient care. He has also undertaken clinical and research work with the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, particularly in addiction and recovery medicine. His professional interests include improving evidence-based addiction treatment, strengthening health systems, clinical research, and capacity building among healthcare professionals.
