Dr. Joselito Pascual is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He currently serves as Head of the Division of Addiction and Recovery Medicine and Head of the National Poison Management and Control Center (NPMCC) at the University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital, as well as Head of the Section of Toxicology in the Department of Emergency Medical Services at Makati Medical Center. He completed his residency in General Adult Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital in 1995, followed by a Fellowship in Clinical and Occupational Toxicology through the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of the Philippines College of Medicine, and the University of the Philippines–National Poison Management and Control Center, Philippine General Hospital in 1997. He held a Research Fellowship with the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development in 1998, and later earned a Master of Science in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addiction, with merit, from King's College London, University of London in 2005. He is a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Addiction and Recovery Medicine (PAARM), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Addiction Psychiatry, and a Diplomate & Fellow in Clinical and Occupational Toxicology of the Philippine Society of Clinical and Occupational Toxicology (PSCOT).
